Enter the reference latitude bands and the tabulated times exactly as printed on the daily page -- above the AP's latitude on the top row, below it on the row underneath. These are LMT (Local Mean Time): the almanac computes them as the Universal Time of the event at the Greenwich meridian for that date, which -- because the Sun and Moon barely move in a few hours -- doubles as a very close approximation of the event's Local Mean Time at any longitude. That's what makes a single table work worldwide; it's also why a longitude correction (applied automatically below) is still needed to get your actual zone time. 24-hour clock. Civil and Nautical Twilight are calculated automatically from Sunrise, Sunset, and Meridian Passage -- no separate entry needed.

Moon longitude correction (optional). Unlike the Sun, the Moon's tabulated rise/set/transit time drifts by up to ~1 hour a day, which matters once you're any real distance from Greenwich. To correct for it, also enter the Moon's tabulated time for the adjacent Greenwich date -- the following date if your AP is in West longitude, or the preceding date if East.
